Nota: esta política es un documento informativo para el sitio y los servicios WBHost. Debe revisarse con asesoría legal según el país, tipo de cliente y tratamiento específico de datos.

1. Data controller and scope

WBHost manages domains, web hosting, servers, business email, website design, ecommerce, technical support, marketing, and consulting for customers in multiple countries. For privacy questions, email admin@wbhost.com.co.

This policy applies to wbhost.com.co, its service pages, portfolios, forms, communications, and internal tools related to WBHost operations.

2. Information we may process

  • Contact and communication data: name, business, email address, phone number, and messages.
  • Business and billing information needed to purchase services.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, security logs, and basic website usage.
  • Information about domains, hosting, email, websites, and support tickets.
  • Files and content a customer provides for website design, hosting, maintenance, or management.

We request only information needed for the relevant purpose. Customers should not send sensitive data unless it is necessary.

3. Automation and connected services

WBHost may implement workflows for leads, ecommerce, CRM, content, notifications, and internal operations. We request only the access and permissions needed for the approved workflow.

Data is used to perform the authorized function. It is not sold or used for personalized advertising. Connected platforms may process information under their own policies, and their changes may affect an automation.

You may revoke access or request data deletion by emailing admin@wbhost.com.co. Retention depends on the purpose, operational records, legal obligations, and backups. When the purpose expires, information is deleted or anonymized where technically feasible.

4. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, register or manage domains, activate hosting, provide support, configure email, build websites, manage ecommerce, maintain systems, prevent abuse, bill customers, handle complaints, improve services, and meet legal obligations.

Customer content may be public when requested or authorized by the customer. Portfolio projects are displayed only with prior permission; other customers may remain undisclosed for privacy or confidentiality.

5. Cookies, caching, and similar technologies

This website may use cookies and web analytics tools to understand how its pages are used and improve their operation. These technologies may process technical browsing data, such as pages viewed, browser, device, interactions, and approximate location, in accordance with the relevant provider’s privacy policies and applicable law.

Your browser, server, CDN, or plugins may temporarily cache copies to improve speed. An update may take time to appear until the cache expires or is cleared. Some features may be affected if technologies required for the website are blocked.

6. Service providers and transfers

We may use domain registrars, data centers, and hosting, email, security, payment, storage, analytics, and automation providers. They receive only the information needed to perform their services and may apply their own policies.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when needed to comply with the law, respond to a competent authority, protect infrastructure, or investigate fraud, spam, malware, and other abuse.

7. Rights, security, and retention

You may request access, updates, corrections, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or object where applicable under local law. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and relationship to the account.

We use reasonable access, authentication, backup, logging, and security controls. No internet-connected system is completely invulnerable; customers are responsible for protecting passwords, access, and their own backups.
